Colorado Venues for the Intimate Couple

For our third installment of our venue spotlight, we're talking about our favorite INTIMATE wedding venues. These venues are for the couple who cherish special moments with the small circle of people who mean the most to them. Maybe you are more into an immediate family elopement and a super fun party the next day. The possibilities are ENDLESS when you have a small guest list, as your budget can really go a long way, and you can really hone in on what is the most important to you and your fiancé for your big day.

Milston Well Farm | Boulder County, CO

This 1860s farmette turned wedding venue is at the top of our list for all of our couples with visions of intimate nuptials. While the venue actually can accommodate up to 150 guests, the overall vibe of the space is cozy and quaint. The owners of the property actually live on site, so it really is a a place to call home! They have an adorable honeymoon cottage for newlyweds (slash bridal suite - bonus!) to stay in the night of your wedding, along with a vintage camper that sleeps two comfortably. Not only is the farmette close to Denver, but these mountain views are always our favorite. Their 2019 dates are filling up fast, so contact the lovely owner, Margaret, ASAP! hello@milstonwellfarm.com (Photo by Sarah Valencia Photography)

Hotel Jerome | Aspen, CO

Full disclosure, people: the Jerome stole our hearts this year. This gorgeous, historic venue is nestled in the heart of Aspen, Colorado. The outdoor patio is perfect for a small ceremonies, intimate cocktail hours, and fun lawn games. Take a breath of fresh mountain air as you make your way from the stunning Aspen Mountain backdrop right into the saloon-style "J Bar" for custom signature drinks. The ballroom is small and intimate, with white walls that creates a super neutral palette for your unique style. The decor theme throughout the hotel is inspired by pure luxury. We are loving all of the new boutique hotels popping up throughout Colorado, but this one comes with history and a unique western charm. (Photo by Megan Wynn Photography)

This affordable, centrally located space is perfect for an intimate get-together, reception, or shower. We love the no-fuss feeling of Urban Space Unlimited, and have seen it successfully used in a huge range of events. The main floor of the venue is open and modern – we especially love the unassuming entryway off of Old Santa Fe Drive. Decorate the exposed brick wall or upscale stair railing to really make this space your own. Inviting children to your reception? Set up a kid’s room in the luxury basement of this venue and offer child care, movies, and pizza so that your adult guests can have a carefree (and kid-free) evening at your celebration!
