REAL WEDDING | Shirley + Robby | Park Hyatt Beaver Creek
While knee-deep in their surgery residencies in New Jersey, Shirley and Robby enlisted Curate to plan every little detail of their Beaver Creek wedding last June. S&R wanted to incorporate the rustic elements of Colorado, but also stay true to their organic and romantic aesthetic. The views of the mountains behind the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck ceremony gave every out-of-town guest a complete Colorado experience and an epic photo opportunity. To frame their picturesque ceremony, we incorporated custom wood pedestals and Rooted Florals + Design florals on either side of the couple. The sun was high as A Touch of Class Musicians string-trio played softly in the background as Levi Tijerina captured the details and emotion flawlessly.
Guests headed back down the mountain for a quick break before the reception, while S+R signed their marriage license as they descended down the gondola. The backdrop at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek gave us a beautiful palette to work with for an evening party, with a bistro-lighted patio and grand fireplace to set the mood. String lighting throughout the dance floor tied in the elegance and modern elements of the space. Each place setting was adorned with a ‘thank you’ note to S+R's guests, with wax seals and silk ribbons leaving a truly special impression. The tables were labeled with custom acrylic stands and named after their favorite travel locales. Guests found their way to their seats by means of a hand-lettered seating chart on hexagon acrylic tiles - custom made by Curate Events + Design. Guests left with custom macaroons, Denver-made coffee beans, and mini bottles of champagne to continue the celebration. These two had us in tears as they danced the waltz with Greattime DJ spinning music throughout their first dance and beyond. This one was really an event to remember - and we're so thankful for these two including us in their classic Colorado nuptials!
